Prof. Abou Oaf Jury Member at “Awladna International Arts Forum for the Gifted”
Professor Mervat Abou Oaf has been selected to serve as a Jury member in the first edition of the “Awladna International Arts Forum for the Gifted” that the Arab Republic of Egypt is launching under the auspices of “The Ministry of Youth,” embodied within the “Egyptian Federation for Sports for the Disabled,” “The Ministry of Tourism,” “Ministry of Social Solidarity,” “Ministry of Immigration,”
and “Egyptian Expatriates Affairs,” “Ministry of Culture,” “Academy of Arts,” the UNICEF, “General Union of Professional Syndicates of Arts,” and the “Arab Artists Union.” Due to her expertise and vast connections and interaction in the domain of festivals, and due to her enrich knowledge in making sound fair judgments of such a competition, Abou Oaf has been invited to join the Jury judging “Awladna Creative Work of Films, Music, and Performances.”Awladna Forum comes as the first of its kind in Egypt, dedicated to feature the cultural and artistic work of the gifted, in pursue of providing a venue to present their works to the whole world in the categories of: Cinema; Performance; Music; Handicrafts and Accessories; Painting and Fine Arts; and Sports. The Federation Chairperson Eng. Amal Mobadda, and Festival Founder/Director Dr. Soheir Abdel Kader organize the event.
